QIC realizing the effect of burglary on businesses and homes, designed this policy to compensate for theft involving entry to and exit from premises by forcible and violent means resulting in the loss of property to the insured.
Under the policy, we will provide financial compensation for any loss incurred as a result of the burglary. Insurance on stock could be arranged on first loss.
The premium is charged on the value of contents.
This insurance provides indemnity for loss, damage or destruction to any property insured from the occurrence of fire and allied perils including lightning, windstorm, earthquake, water damage, riot strike and civil commotion. This also covers burglary and accidental damage.
The properties to be covered include building (inclusive of the landlord’s fitting and fixtures) occupied as office, equipment, furniture, safes, air-conditions, computers and accessories as well as other equipment used for working.
Kindly note that every incident that occurs on a property covered under Assets All Risk Policy is covered unless specifically excluded in the policy.
The policy compensates for loss of or damage to goods being transported from one destination to another. The risk cover includes loss as a result of road traffic accident, fire outbreak and robbery. Extra risks such as extortion, collusion with insured’s staff and theft can be endorsed on the policy. Additionally, the risk of loss or damage while goods are being loaded or offloaded can also be insured.
