Quality Insurance Company Limited is an insurance company established under the Company’s Code of 1963 (Act 179).
Quality Insurance Company Limited was licensed by the National Insurance Commission(NIC) as a composite insurance company. In 2006, the new Insurance Act (Act 724) made it mandatory to establish another company to be responsible for underwriting strictly life insurance portfolio.
This led to the establishment of Quality Life Assurance Company (QLAC) with Quality Insurance Company Limited providing only non-life products to its retail and corporate clients and has positioned itself to be a major player in the Ghanaian insurance market.
